I could definitely tell that Katniss was struggling with Peeta, but I felt like Suzanne Collins wrote it that way because that was how Katniss should feel, not that she had to. I don't know if that made any sense, but it kind of goes along with the development thing. Her struggles didn't come out as genuine to me.

However, I still enjoyed the series. And I'm definitely still seeing the movie as well :]Ericahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18191166122464475192noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-397312059783812878.post-91448027104115186982012-03-10T15:44:20.836-05:002012-03-10T15:44:20.836-05:001) I know, seriously. And I did too :] Just not the love triangle part, which I really am getting tired of.
2) I just finished reading Hallowed the other day and... o.o
3) In my opinion, I feel like Katniss and Peeta should have bonded more before going full out with the whole "star-crossed lovers" bit in the Games. But that's just me :3 I still liked Peeta.
4) YES.
5) Derek is amazing. Enough said :]Ericahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18191166122464475192noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-397312059783812878.post-59550844220575387282012-03-10T15:42:03.482-05:002012-03-10T15:42:03.482-05:00Pretending to like her? I just really, really did not like the Kaleb-Emerson relationship.Ericahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18191166122464475192noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-397312059783812878.post-71951206482458272752012-03-10T15:41:10.799-05:002012-03-10T15:41:10.799-05:00I hear you. But I never stopped loving Simon :]Ericahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18191166122464475192noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-397312059783812878.post-38322282826382150542012-03-01T21:48:02.400-05:002012-03-01T21:48:02.400-05:00I never picked a side for The Hunger Games so I wa...I never picked a side for The Hunger Games so I wasn't really disappointed by Mockingjay. I myself thought the way it turned out was totally believable. Katniss was tired of the action. Gale was more of an action type than Peeta.

I felt the opposite of you about the different character relationship developments. I thought Katniss and Peeta's were much more believable. It was built up and you could tell Katniss was really struggling while Peeta knew how he felt. With Gale, I realize he was her best friend, but at the beginning he wasn't really a love interest. He only became one later. I felt as if it was just thrown in that way and that they didn't show and develop much of their relationship until too late in the series.

Ooooooooooh, Derik. Ah. -happy sigh- I always loved him way more than Simon.Brooke R. BOOKS WITHOUT LOVE TRIANGLES ARE OKAY, PEOPLE! That said, I did enjoy Hourglass, lol.
2) I love Tucker. So, so much. So this is one of those love triangles that scares me, because I'm not sure what's going to happen.
3) I actually really love Peeta. I liked Gale right at first...until I met Peeta. But that's just my opinion. I really do love Gale, seriously. Just not for Katniss, I guess.
4) TOOOOD! Taylee! YESYESYESYESYES!
5) I loved the way this one ended. That Derek. Sigh :)Mag @ Geek Chichttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10823121858336168191noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-397312059783812878.post-54458802389140519352012-03-01T19:06:06.593-05:002012-03-01T19:06:06.593-05:00I was really surprised when Kaleb took to Emerson ...I was really surprised when Kaleb took to Emerson like he did. Throughout the entire book, I was CONVINCED that he was only pretending to like her, to make Michael jealous (all for Emerson's sake, of course).
And, yo. TOTALLY Team Gale.Riv Rehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09385226727864037794noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-397312059783812878.post-36861042728793736742012-03-01T17:33:03.670-05:002012-03-01T17:33:03.670-05:00I also loved the Summoning series love triangle. I love reading how chloe's feelings of hatred turned to friendship then to love. I love Derek's and Chloe's scenes together in the awakening.Rachel https://www.blogger.com/profile/05123061163236150743noreply@blogger.com
